Complete List of Excel Cube Functions References and Examples

by

Excel Cube functions were introduced in Microsoft Excel 2007. The Cube functions  perform calculations and extract data from a cube, which is stored on an external SQL server. These functions are only supported with a connection to Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services or later data source.

Data cubes are multidimensional sets of data that can be stored in a spreadsheet, providing a means to summarize information from the raw data source.
